Project Information
The last section to complete in the project creation process is the project information section.
There are a number of fields you need to complete in this section:
Project Type: Select the type of project that corresponds to your project. This is a pre-filled dropdown based on various types of existing projects.
Project Stage: Select the current stage of your project. This is a pre-filled dropdown based on existing stages of projects. We've tried to keep this as generalized as possible.
Project Stage Notes: An optional field that allows you to add a short description under the Project Stage timeline. It's an optional field, but if you want to add additional context to the project stage, this is a good spot for that information.
Project Dates: This is another optional field. If you have a start and end date for your project, it will include that in the project information section. Visitors to the page will see the month and year start, as well as the month and year end of the project when you include that information.
Project Year: This field represents the expected calendar year that the project will be complete. It's a required field for now, as we're considering adding it as a potential option for filtering in our project tracker search page in the future.
Project Features: This is an optional field that allows you to add specific features for your project. We're still building out this pre-defined list, so if you have a feature that makes sense to include, please let us know by emailing [email protected].
Project Cost: This is an optional feature and will be removed in the future. You can ignore this field for now.
