Program / Initiative Profile

Program / Initiative Profile content types give programs and projects a landing page and jumping off point where people can find relevant information about the program or initiative. These page types can use any of the available components options.

Good to Know

  • These pages lend themselves especially well to initiatives being headed up by multiple departments. You can add any number of departments to the “Who’s Involved” section. These will appear at the bottom of the page with a link to each department’s page.

  • If you need to adjust the breadcrumbing at the top of the page, you can reach out to [email protected], and we can adjust the URL.

Best Practices

  • Keep the most relevant and usable information toward the top of the page, this includes actionable items or time sensitive information and material.

  • The title of any page should be short but descriptive. Keeping titles short prevents them from being cut off in search results.

  • To keep pages accessible, write your content at an 8th-grade reading level or below. To check your reading level, you can use the Hemingway App.

  • When titling pages or component sections, use title case.

    • For example, instead of “Title page” or “TITLE PAGE”, use “Title Page”

  • Avoid using ampersands (&)
