Post
Post content types are best for conveying timely updates, announcements, or press releases. Think of these pages as blog posts. Post content types will automatically appear in the “News and Announcements” section of the homepage.

Best Practices
Keep post titles concise. Long titles are difficult to read and cut off in search engines. You can always use the intro section like a subheadline to convey more information if you feel the title is missing key points.
When adding posts, tag any and all relevant pages in the “related content tab”. This will place the post in the "news and announcements" component of those tagged pages.
Some examples of things that can make good posts
Press Releases
Timely videos/human interest media
List of job postings
Announcements for a series of events
Post-event summaries
Blogs
Timely announcements
Project updates
Good to Know
Posts can be backdated. If a post is made later and needs to be dated to not show up as new, reach out to [email protected] and we can manually back date the post.
If you need to make an edit to a post but don’t want the updated date to change, you can reach out to [email protected] and we can manually override the update information.
Posts can use all of the components that can be used in any other page type.
