Recurring Events

For events that repeat at the same time on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, you have the option to set up a recurring event. This will ensure that you don’t have to create a new event page for each instance of the event.

To Start setting up a recurring event, you'll need to go to the "event information" tab

Under the "Event Date" you'll see a drop down menu where you can select the frequency of the event

Multiple Days

For events that happen over consecutive days (ex. A weekend long festival) you can choose the multiple days option from the drop down. This option will prompt you to choose the number of days the event is going on.

For the "Starts On" section you want to enter the date that the event begins.

For the "Ends On" section you want to enter the date that the event starts on and the time that the first day's event ends.

Keep in mind, this option is only for multi-day events that have the same start and end time for each day.

Weekly and Bi-Weekly

When setting up a weekly or bi-weekly event, select weekly or fortnightly from the drop down menu.

For the "Starts On" section choose the date and start time of the first event.

For "Ends On" section choose the date of the first event and the ending time of that event.

Next you'll select the day of the week that this event repeats on.

For the Ends section you’ll need to choose between two options:

  1. After number of occurrences - for this option you'll enter the number of times this event repeats

  2. On date - for this option you'll enter the date of the final event and the end time of the event

KEEP IN MIND:

You cannot select the "Never" option. Selecting never will cause an error that will break the page.
