Events and Notices

The "Events and Notices" component displays upcoming events as tiles.

This component can automatically display events that have been tagged in "related content" with the corresponding page. Events will show up in chronological order and will automatically drop off when the event date passes.

Best Practices:

When setting up an "Events and Notices" component, you can set the parameters for what kinds of events it will pull in, as well as how many events are visible at a time.

  • In the “Display” drop down menu, the most common option is to choose “related”. That will pull in any events that have the page tagged as “related content”.

  • If you want to highlight a specific event, you can start typing the title of the event in the “Featured Item” field. This will create a larger tile for that event at the top of the component.

  • In the "Advanced options" section, you can specify the number of events that should show up at one time. These will be in multiples of three and should stay between 3 and 12.

  • You can change the background color of this component to white, gray, or blue by selecting from the "Component Theme."
