Drawers

Drawers are a good way to add lots of links and large amounts of text information without sacrificing page scroll. It will tuck your content into a collapsible drawer.

Content that can be tucked into drawers includes:

  • tables

  • iframed calendars and airtable spreadsheets

  • iframed maps, and

  • anything that may slow the page’s loading time.

Drawers can also be used to create easily navigable FAQ sections, where each drawer is titled with a question, and inside the drawer is the answer:

Best practices

Avoid overusing drawers as a way to add long bricks of text. Text should always be simplified and shortened whenever possible.

Good to know

  • When setting up drawers, the component functions exactly the way a regular formatted text block would!

  • You can change the color of this component’s background to white, gray, or blue through the "component theme" field.
