Formatted Text Component

The "Formatted Text" component is best used for displaying informative text. This component can be formatted in various ways to create visual interest.

Columns

The "Formatted Text" component allows you to place text into one, two, or three columns.

One Column - Text will span the length of the page:

Two Columns - You will see two WYSIWYG fields, one for the left and the other for the right side of the page, with this format you can choose the size of the columns to be equal halves, or ⅓ to ⅔ ratio:

Three Columns - This option will provide you with three WYSIWYG fields, left, center, and right. Columns will be equal sizes:

Good to know:

• You can change the color of this component’s background to white, gray, or blue.

• As much as we can, we shoot for an 8th-grade reading level on the site. If you’re having trouble simplifying your text, try using the Hemingway Editor.
