Before you get to the components, each content type has similar fields that you need to complete.
Title
Setting up a page begins with choosing a title for the page. This should be short and descriptive:
Best practices:
Titles should be simple, direct, and describe the page. Titles that are too long or vague will make the page harder to find in search engines.
Avoid using Ampersands (&) or other symbols. Using actual words helps with our Google translation software.
Use title case when writing out titles (ex: “Test Page” instead of “Test page” or “TEST PAGE”)
Intro Text
Your intro text should be a maximum of 1-2 sentences. This area is a good place to provide a brief overview or a timely update you would like to draw attention to:
The intro text will appear as larger, italicized font beneath the title of the page:
Body Text
The article body text will appear below the intro text and above any components added to the page:
The body text functions much like a single column formatted text block. You can use the options at the top of the CKEditor / WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) field to make changes to the formatting:
We'll have more details about the options in the CKEditor later in this guide.
