Plainlanguage.gov: The federal website has some very useful tips.

Writing for Gov.UK: How to write well for your audience, including specialists.

'Oxford Guide to Plain English' by Martin Cutts: This excellent book goes into more depth about the topics we mentioned.

'The Complete Plain Words': Sir Ernest Grower wrote this book in 1948, but his advice still holds true.
